I know this may be off-topic, but I think there is cross-over as some of
you may house older or rare maps and blueprints in your collections.

I am looking to cheaply but archivally store these. The higher-end archival
standards require chrome-plated steel or powder-coated steel. If i couldn't
afford these, what is the next best thing, given that the storage
environment is humidity and temperature controlled? Would reinforced steel
suffice for 10-20 yrs?

Thank you for your help with this!
