I would also add make sure you get the pockets/folders with hand holes (https://www.draftingsuppliesdew.com/ulrich-9067-30x42-planfile-folders-for-4230-ec4230). Not all of ours have these. In general, vertical files are a nightmare for anyone with shoulder problems. They do work best for items that are relatively similar sized like topo maps. There are a few different sizes so you could get some different size plan files and files similar sized maps together.
