I'm curious to know what other map librarians are doing with their government,
commercial and antiquarian catalogs after they select from them.  Do you file
them, use them for reference, and when do you finally pitch them?
 
It seems that if the map library is a primarily current working collection (as
opposed to a special collection like the Clements in Ann Arbor) and with
addresses found in "World Mapping Today" for government agencies, the need for
these files have become less critical.
