First of all, many thanks to all the persons who
responded - good to have both the ideas and the
support.
If your computer's cpu/Internet connect had some difficulty with
those previous scans, try these at 150ppi and see if
it will come reasonably quickly for you AND still
provide sufficient resolution so you can read sheet
numbers, etc. - and let me know if even this
doesn't work for you:
