Subject: ALA Meeting on Rare and Endangered Publications
 
        I was asked by Jim Gravois, Chair of the ALA Joint Committee on Rare
and Endangered Government Publications, to forward this invitation to you.
 
        All members of MAGERT along with other interested librarians are
invited to attend our next meeting in Chicago.  It will take place at 11:30
a.m. on Sunday, June 25, at the Lake Erie Room of the Chicago Hilton & Towers.
The room is reserved for one hour.
 
        The Joint Committee is made up of members from GODORT, MAGERT, and
RBMS.  Map preservation is definitely on its agenda, and ideas or suggestions
for activities are welcome from all.
