The Boise State University Library has some topographic maps of
the Philippines to offer to another map library. They are 38
maps with titles such as "Operational Sheet Able Prep," "Operational
Sheet Easy," etc., prepared for CINCPAC by the Corps of Engineers
during World War II, at a scale of 1:36,000. They cover areas of
Luzon and Mindanao. The National Archives Cartographic Branch
was not interested. Anyone interested, please send me an e-mail
message. Thanks. Alan Virta, Head of Special Collections
