Thanks for sharing this Louise! Joseph spent two days here at Penn State as part of our celebration of GIS Day and Geography Awareness Week and presented on this topic of geoliteracy here in the library. It drew a very healthy crowd, and Joseph did an awesome job! He is a dynamic speaker, his enthusiasm is engaging and infectious. I'd recommend him to anyone looking for a speaker to talk about this topic or things related to geospatial data, geographic information, etc.
