Hello, colleagues,

This question is for those of you who manage US Federal Depository maps
collections. Does anyone know if these two titles have been superseded?

Maps of the World’s Nations v.1 Western Hemisphere (1976), v.2 Africa
(1977) PrEx 3.10/4:W 89

Polar Regions Atlas (1978) PrEx 3.10/4:P 75/2

They are almost hopelessly out of date as far as currency or timeliness
is concerned. I know there is some historical value, but they are not
unique sources of that information. The depository rules require that if
not superseded by a new edition or title, they cannot be discarded
without approval from the regional depository. This is what I would like
to do. For the first title, it appears that only these two volumes were
produced, or at least distributed.
