Please take a look at the UConn Map and Geographic Information
Center's URL http://magic.lib.uconn.edu/

While it needs some serious fiddling with, it is getting to a point
where I am comfortable telling my collegues about it. This site is
built on the work I have done to make geo-spatial data for
Connecticut FTPable on the Network. The image mapping capabilities
of GLACI-HTTPD allow us to mount a Web server on our DOS Novell 3.11
server. Not a particularly elegant way to go, but it is workable. I
am particularly pleased with the cartography of the clickable maps
and the singular cooperation of the CT. DEP. It takes a lot of trust
for a state agency to decide to "put their data on deposit"

Please, take a look and comment.

Thanks,

Patrick
