Try the following for the photos:
Defense Intelligence Agency

Washington, DC 20340-0020
Reques must be in writing and have specifics as to the location and using
Lat. Long if you can decern.  They will respond with what coverage is available
and the cost of reproduction.
Another possible location for WWII photos maybe the;
National Archives Cartographic Branch
NNSC
Washington DC 20408
 
They also will contact you with the info.
