Respectfully suggest contacting these folks:

Given that the majority of the world’s population lives along the coast, sea level is rising, and hurricanes are expected to increase in intensity in the future, it has become more important than ever to understand mechanisms driving coastal change.

Hello Maps-L:

I am wondering if there is some kind of website or online resource which shows the cartographic changes in the coastline of the Outer Banks from the earliest maps to the latest hurricanes and nor'easters.

Thank you for any responses,

Best,

Allison
