Perhaps some of you have seen the dramatic video of a home washing away
when Lake Delton near Wisconsin Dells literally drained into the
Wisconsin River. The lake is completely empty and 4 homes washed away
with the water. The home owners of the home seen in the video footage
not only lost their home but the land as well. A disagreement between
the City of Lake Delton and FEMA over the FEMA flood plain maps from
2001 has left residents in that area without flood insurance. Maps,
maps, maps! Unbelievable.
