One of the ideal solutions would be to arrange a cooperative group of
libraries whom would consider cataloging these maps on the national
utilities. David Lundquist is absolutely correct in defining these as
valuable maps and I would add "underused."

David--Cartactual is indexed.  There was a cumulative index for nos. 1-20
(1965-1969) issued in late 1969-early 1970.  They have a goofy way of issuing
the indexes with generous overlaps some years.  It appears that for the recent
past they have an 11ish to 15 or 20ish numbers per index.  I'm not sure what
happened between issues nos. 21 and 50 as those are the only years we don't
have indexes for.
