Hello All -



We are planning a special session to celebrate Mary Murphy's 100th birthday.  It will be on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at the Special Libraries Annual Conference in Phoenix, Arizona.



Her two nephews, Alec Murphy and Fred Shelley, will be speaking on her life and career.  Jon Jablonski, a former grad student of Alec Murphy at the University of Oregon and now at UC Santa Barbara, will talk about the changes in map processing from Mary's time at the Army Map Service in the 1940s and today.
