Hi Folks,

This email is a reminder that Government Information Quarterly (GIQ) will
host a reception at the spring Depository Library Council meeting in
Albuquerque, NM on Sunday April 17,
2005 between 7:00PM and 8:30PM in the Sheraton Old Town, Alvarado
E. Refreshments will be served. Editors (John Carlo Bertot and John
Shuler) and members of the editorial board will be available to discuss the
journal and manuscript ideas that you may have for publication in GIQ.

Government Information Quarterly, an international journal of information

in publishing scholarly and practitioner articles that explore topics such
as the:

availability of government information;
- Management of government information resources/services within a digital
library environment;
- Issues involving the accessibility, usability, functionality and
long-term archiving of government websites;
-  Role of libraries in e-government initiatives at all levels of government;
-  E-government policies, issues, and practice;
-  Archival policies affecting digital government information;
- Comparative national, state and local government information resources
from around the globe;
- Policy implications involved with government information services
directed to particular communities; and
- Other manuscripts broadly related to government information management,
policy, and practice are also welcome.
