Hi Mappers,

I have also seen the new Rough Guides maps - good cartography printed on
plastic that feels like paper. A few years ago I purchased a 1:1250000
scale map of Namibia, produced by "Ray Maphouse"  also titled with the
text "World Mapping Project".

Google found some interesting info::

Ray MapHouse is a German Company that produces inexpensive but well
detailed maps. They currently have 13 titles in their ambitious "World
Mapping Project". The Current Titles are for common German Holiday
Locations, but these locations have seldom been mapped before. And Ray
MapHouse has done produced and excellent series. Price is only $6.95 Each.
