We were talking recently in my library about movies with maps as the
plot centerpiece, and I remember seeing an old B&W movie concerning the
murder of a cartographer in Africa, made in the 1950s or so. The
cartographer had noted the river, used as a national border, had changed
its course. The results were that a lucrative mine had been transferred
from one country to another, and to prevent anyone from knowing that,
the mine owner killed the map maker.
Is anyone on the list familiar with this film, and can give me a title?
