Colleagues,
This message is to inform you that the University of South Carolina Libraries is starting a process which will result in a significant reduction in our holdings of USGS topographic quads.
Over the next nine months we will be reviewing and de-selecting most of our holdings west of the Mississippi River. During this process I will occasionally offer up specific states that we are willing to take requests.
Postage for small requests will be covered by the University of South Carolina; however, larger requests will need to be negotiated. The first set of materials will include the states of
Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Montana, and Nevada. Requests for specific quads must be received by Friday, December 6, 2019.
Please contact me directly if you have any questions about this offer.
This message is being posted to Maps-L and Regional-L, I apologize for any duplication.
Thanks
Bill Sudduth
