I forgot to add that the paper versions of these maps are housed at the University of Texas at Arlington Libraries Special Collections.

Subject: FEMA flood plain maps - archiving digital versions?

Now that the FEMA local flood insurance maps are no longer distributed in paper, is anyone endeavoring to retain the updated maps by downloading from the FEMA site or other means? FEMA states that they now charge $150 to retrieve older editions.

Thanks!
