 HI Folks,

I am pretty new to the role of Maps Librarian for our fairly small
collection, but first task is a review of our existing collection policy
and to undertake a good weed of the existing collection.

I have not found many weeding protocols others have used on the net, to
serve as an example, with the exception of experiences shared by *Emily-Jane
Dawson *from* Multnomah County Library
(http://www.waml.org/ib/waml-information-bulletin/46-2/weeding-the-map-collection-observations-and-advice/

( Thanks for sharing Emily!)

Would anyone else who has written up an outline for consideration/weeding
protocol, for weeding a physical Maps Collection, be kind enough to share?
I would be happy to compile any received into a list for the group.

Thanks for any advice you might offer. Cheers. Jenny.
