The col. ill. is of an unattributed county map of 'CAITHNESS' (late 18th century?): probably identifiable via either a hard copy of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society's The early maps of Scotland, vol. 2 (Edinburgh, 1983) - or via NLS's website.
