This may be already well known to most, but I felt I should send it, I 5regret to notice that Corradino (Dino) Astengo passed away on January 16 from pneumonia. An Italian geographer (Universita di Genova), Dino contributed much to tyhe history o0f cartography, and he was prominent vat the International Conferences on the History of Cartography. I just learned o0f his passing from his son Augusto.
