This story from a Swiss newpaper may be of interest: the Swiss and
Italian authorities have decided that the line of their alpine border
will be re-surveyed because of the changes that have occurred as a
result of climate change and particularly the disappearance and movement
of glaciers. They are hoping to agree on an agreed but mobile frontier,
that will take future changes into account.

Best wishes
