The Harvard Map Collection has taken ca. 50% of its antiquarian collection
and placed it in temporary storage while we dismantle some old wooden
storage units and replace them with new metal cases. Any visitors planning
to use the collection in the next two weeks should contact the Map
Collection (617.495.2417) to assess the availability of materials. We
apologize for this inconvenience and look forward to having the maps
refiled into their new quarters by April 20th.
