often times those numbers in the corner refer to a date, yours could be Feb. 2, 1989. Just a guess on my part, I'd wait for others to find their copy and get back to you.

Subject: Appeal to Collective Wisdom - Bartholomew Central Europe map

Hello,

I have a Bartholomew map with the title Central Europe. SInce it has been removed from the covers, I have no way to assign a date. It is before 1991, but could be from any time between the late 60s to 1991. The only clue that I have is a number in the lower left corner: 2289.

I would appreciate it if those of you who have the Central Europe Bartholomew map could check the maps in your collections to help me date our map. Thank you. Linda Zellmer
