I apologize for not having the answer or the following books at hand.
Comprehensive descriptions of all communities in Missouri during that
time period include 'Campbell's Gazetteer of Missouri' by Robert Allen
Campbell, 1875 and the' Missouri State Gazetteer and Business
Directory' by the R. L. Polk Company, 1884.
