  There is one other proposal that will be discussed at the MARBI meetings that
may be of interest.  Proposal 97-3R is a revision of a proposal originally
discussed at the Midwinter meeting.  This proposal concerns the definition of
code "m" (Computer file) in the Leader/06 position.  The definition would be
narrowed to specific kinds of electronic resources, including computer
software, alphanumeric data, games, computer-oriented multimedia, online
systems and services, etc.  Other electronic resources would be coded for their
significant aspect.
 
  This proposal generated much discussion at Midwinter and will probably
generate as much in San Francisco.
