Dear Colleagues;

We are searching for maps showing where ancient civilizations obtained
their gold.

 Particularly in Mesopotamia, Egypt and Greece, but also in Central Asia
and elsewhere. If you know about maps showing where ancient gold mines
were anywhere in the world, we would be interested. This may eventually
be turned into a GIS project with a map available on our website.
Thanks!
