Hello Maps-L Subscribers:

    The archive of past Maps-L messages now has web access. You can
access the past messages at:
       http://www.listserv.uga.edu/archives/maps-l.html

     At this same site you can also use a web interface to send a
message to Maps-L, join or leave the list, and change the settings of
your subscription.  For example, you could set your subscription so
that you got your messages in a digest form; got the messages with a
different type of header; got a copy of your own postings; or got your
message delivery disabled temporarily.

     A new version of the 'Listserv' software that runs Maps-L, may
allow several minor changes in the near future.  Your Moderator will
play with several different settings for Maps-L over the next few
months to try to make the list a little more responsive to subscriber's
needs.  If you have any problems with the current list mechanics, let
me know, as I may be able to fix the problem.
