Subject: update from Hawaii - flood situation
Date: Tue, 02 Nov 2004 11:48:24 -0800

Hi all,

Mabel Suzuki, of the Gov. Docs. and Maps department at UHM, left a message
on my voice mail this morning. She wants to thank all of you for your
thoughts and support. At this point, she is too busy to return email or
phone calls.

They are in the long process of cleaning up. She said it is "quite
devastating" to see what has happened.

I have included a couple of URLs with updated information.

(This includes pictures of the library and people washing the aerial
photographs.)

("Librarians rush to salvage flood-damaged items.")
