                       AT THIS YEAR'S PDAC
                 AND ATTEND A DEMONSTRATION OF
                           "GSC-LINK"
 
The "GSC-Link" terminal was designed to provide clients with
computer access to the many information services and products
offered by the Geological Survey, such as:
 
     the Canadian Geoscience Information Centre Catalogue
     the GSC's bookstores (on-site display, electronic ordering)
     the Directory of GSC Specialists
 
and much more!
 
The first terminal of its kind is located at the Mines and Minerals
Information Centre, Ministry of Northern Development and Mines, in
Toronto. More terminals will be set up throughout Canada.

Le terminal <CGC-direct> a ete concu pour permettre aux clients
d'avoir acces, par ordinateur, aux nombreux services et produits
d'information de la CGC, dont les suivants :
 
     le catalogue du Centre canadien d'information geoscientifique
     les librairies de la CGC (consultation de documents sur
place,
     commande electronique de documents)
     le repertoire des specialistes de la CGC
 
et plusieurs autres !
 
Le premier terminal de ce genre a ete installe au Centre
d'information des mines et des mineraux, au Ministere du
Developpement du Nord et des Mines a Toronto. D'autres terminaux
seront installes a travers le Canada.
