I think these datasets will remain on the USGS-EROS server for awhile.
  If you're interested in archiving any of them, it might be best to
contact the National Atlas project chief (Jay Donnelly,
[log in to unmask] <mailto:[log in to unmask]>).  I'm sure he'd be
interested in discussing that.
I've picked up some of the geology-related products to manage, but
haven't yet considered whether to also archive some of the datasets
(mostly shape files I think).
