The NYPL has scanned over 5000 Sanborn sheets from NYC
<http://digitalgallery.nypl.org/nypldigital/dgtitle_tree.cfm?title_id=1926663&level=2&tword=>.

On the docket are the remaining public domain New York State Sanborns,
roughly 6000 sheets.

     Here at BYU, I have linked several Sanborn Fire Insurances sites, by
     state, within my libguide. They include, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky,
     Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas,
     and of course Utah. I hope to add more as time permits. If you'd like
     to view what's been done, go to, lib.byu.edu <http://lib.byu.edu> -
     Click on "Maps &
     Gazetteers" (lower right) - then click on the "Maps Online" tab - and
     scroll down below the European Maps. Click on the links or mouse over
     the descriptions as you wish.

     Thanks,

     MSU (Kathleen Weesies) has also compiled a list of state institutions
     that have scanned and make available digital versions of maps published
     by the Sanborn Map Company:

     According to this very informative guide there are currently eight
     states:

     I bought the Michigan set about 10 years ago, then just this year
bought
     Michigan again in the "Geo" edition. I also have the major US cities
     set in the Geo Edition. http://libguides.lib.msu.edu/__sanborn
     <http://libguides.lib.msu.edu/sanborn>

     I noticed recently (or was reminded) that Center for Research Libraries
     has the full country on microfilm available for loaning.

     The UC Berkeley Earth Sciences and Map Library has a Union List of

     I was wondering how many states have digitized Sanborn maps for their
     states.
