A patron here found the following information about Richnava in
a Hungarian encyclopedia (Nagy Revai Lexikona) from the early
1900s:
Richnava was in the former Hungarian county of Szepes and known
as Rihno (with accent over the "o") in Hungarian. The German
name of the village was Richenau. In 1910, Rihno had 688 Slovak
inhabitants. The village is now in Slovakia at 48 56 N/ 20 55 E.
