Greetings from Ithaca, NY.

Hoping someone can provide some guidance.  I received this question from a graduate student:

I have a list of locations, some of which are given by name, others using what I *think* are corner coordinates or some other military mapping system. Do you by chance know how I I can decipher (and in turn find) locations in British mandate Iraq given with a T.C. prefix, as seen below in one of the lists?
