Hello,
I'm on the Nominating Committee of ALA GODORT.
We're looking for librarians to recommend for Depository
Library Council.  These people help shape policies on
Federal Government information.  If you work in a library
which is a Federal Government Depository I hope that

Interested In Serving on Depository Library Council?

The Depository Library Council (DLC) is an advisory board
to the Public Printer of the United States, providing advice
on policy matters related to the Federal Depository Library
Program (FDLP) as provided in Title 44 of the United States Code.
The primary focus of Council's work is to advise the Public Printer,
the Superintendent of Documents, and appropriate members of
Government Printing Office (GPO) staff on the management and
operation of the FDLP. Further information can be found at:

Each year, the ALA Government Documents Round Table (GODORT)
recommends up to five people to be nominated by the ALA Executive
Board for service on DLC. These nominations are forwarded to the
Public Printer for consideration.

or do you wish to suggest someone else for consideration as
a nominee? Please fill out the interactive Depository Library Council
