The Cartographic Users Advisory Council (CUAC) annual meeting will be held April 23-24, 2009. CUAC
is an organization made up of representatives from national and regional library organizations that
work with cartographic information, including maps and spatial data. CUAC works on behalf of public,
academic, and special libraries to ensure access to maps and spatial data in libraries. Once a year
we meet with federal agencies that produce/distribute/archive cartographic information (e.g., USGS,
GPO, NOAA, Census, NARA) to exchange information, raise questions and concerns, and remind them that
they have real live users out there who use their stuff. ;)

If you have questions or concerns you'd like CUAC to pass on to one of these agencies, please let me
or another member of CUAC know in the next couple weeks. (A list of CUAC members is at
http://cuac.wustl.edu/CUAC.htm.)
