This message is being cross posted on Maps-L and Govdoc-L. Please
excuse the duplication.

The Map and Geography Round Table (MAGERT) has scheduled its annual
field trip, held at the end of the ALA Annual Conference, on Wednesday,
June 30, 1993. It will be a tour of the John C. Stennis Space Center, the
USGS' Applications Systems Facility and ESIC, and the Naval Oceanographic
Office Technical Library and SUper Computing facility, which are located in
Bay St. Louis, Mississippi (approximately 45 miles NE of New Orleans). The
day will conclude with a Crayfish Boil. A detailed itinerary for the day
can be found at the end of this message.

The cost of the tour is $25.00. This includes air conditioned,
coach bus, round trip transportation from the Hotel St. Marie in New Orleans
and the crayfish boil. Lunch is on your own. There will be a limited
number of seats available for the tour (40-45). This depends on the seating
of the bus.

If want to reserve a spot on the tour you can do so by contacting
me, Jim Walsh, by e-mail, telephone, U.S. mail, or in person (if you
happen to be in Boston) [all addresses are listed below]. The $25.00
check should be made out to: JIM WALSH; and mailed to the following
address: JIM WALSH, 161 BOUTELLE ST., FITCHBURG, MA 01420.
Requests will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
