         Re: CartActual (A)

The Royal Library, National Library of the Netherlands, has used
the maps in CartActual intensively -but it isn't the only source-
to create the notes for and delineations of administrative
divisions of countries for the area-classification and
area-thesaurus of the CCK (former Dutch Union Map Catalogue).
This because CartActual appears under the auspices of the ICA
(International Cartographic Association). We have also gotten
notice that it soon will cease to appear.

However we would like to know whether there will be another
published or electronic source which can generate the same kind
of "official" information. If anyone knows would you please
inform us before we may do some sleuthing ourselves.
