When NGA halted distribution of their nautical charts through the FAA a few
years ago, Land Info purchased one each of all available paper nautical
charts and then scanned them at high resolution and georeferenced all of
them. We offer them at academic discounts. Chart 61170 (5th ed., May
1998) is in this archive.

Best regards,

Geoff

Subject: Nautical charts online?

In contemplating the future of our collection of worldwide nautical charts,
I’ve spoken to a few people who told me that the US-made nautical charts are
online. Upon investigating, I believe that means only the charts of the US
waters, and I’d like to verify that. For instance, I have in hand NIMA
chart 61170, Porto do Ibo to Porto de Moçambique dated May 30, 1998. I’m
not finding that online anywhere.

Is there a resource I’m unaware of?
