Hello All,

I am doing a Quality check on 1:4000 mapscale 20 cm resolution color
orthoimages. In addition of checking the orthoimages on the screen for their
geometry accuracy I also needs to check its color balance (tonal distribution)
through reading its histograms.

I am interested in knowing what should be the range for color orthoimages
for its Mean and Standard deviation values. How will I know that an image as
all the details in it by reading its histogram.

Any help, guidlines or suggestions will be appreciated.
