I have been asked to speak to a local group of book collectors and
dealers who are interested in forming a map specialty committee.  Any
thoughts about how such a map interest group should be formed, what
they would do, and how they could help the local map libraries would be
appreciated.  My talk is tomorrow night (Wednesday, Dec 1st), but our
need for your advice will continue as we create the map group.  Thanks.
