In the list for relationcodes we use for the role of authors it says "copier see forger". However the author of the map I describe is not a forger, but really a true copier, who also states his role on the map! And this was a genuine profession in the middle and late middle ages, especially in the scriptoria. In the mean time I use the role editor $edt$, but I feel like something is subtly wrong.

With kind regards,

Jan Smits
