I wouldn't know wether they used a retro-projection or not. I
suggest you try to reach Scan-Globe in Copenhagen, Danmark.
Unfortunately I haven't the address as the globe was a gift of my
colleague of the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin at his 60est
birthday.
