I hope that your summer has been somewhat restful and you've been able to catch your breath from this past school year.

This year’s legislative session came to an end on March 29, 2024. Since then, we waited anxiously for the Governor’s signature. That occurred on May 7, 2024. On May 10, your CTAE Director submitted the AgEd Budget for recommendation to the State Board of Education. The State BOE will vote on the recommended budget in June.
The only thing I would consider adding (even though you said it once), would be in the section of items to bring. I would put in there that they need to bring a box or something to transport their materials home safely.

Kevin Jump and I want to thank the site supervisors, teachers, chaperones, and FFA members involved in the VERY successful two days of community service during the 96th State FFA Convention this year. Everyone worked hard and seemed to have a great time fulfilling the "Living to Serve" part of the FFA Motto last Wednesday and Thursday. Homeowners and site supervisors alike had nothing but positive comments about the students', teachers', and chaperones' efforts and results.
We had one Bagwell WLC Recipient and one Growing America's Farmers Scholarship Recipient not receive their plaque during the State Convention. If one of these belongs to your student, please let me know so I can get them delivered.

As a person, we celebrate many milestones in our life. Marriage, birth of children, careers, and retirement to name a few. As teachers of Agriculture, we celebrate many student successes without looking for recognition. However, in retirement there is a chance that your peers will recognize you for the contributions you made to students and to the profession. Thus,
