One option might be to purchase and install PlanHold's vertical
filing system. They come either on mobile racks (on wheels) or
bolted to a wall. Check your local graphic arts or drafting
equipment/furniture dealers for details.
If you would like to see the system "in action", please take a
look at the November 1995 issue (v.27, no.1) of the Western Assn.
of Map Libraries _Information Bulletin_. There is a photo-essay
showing how this system is used in storing raised-relief maps.
