Registration and Written Media Plan Deadline –* Friday, December 1**5*

*Registration for CDE is not complete until the Written Media Plan is
turned in by Friday, December 15.  *



*Event Details:*

This event is open to FFA members in grades 9-12 and is a 4 person team.


At the Area Level, each student will


   - take a 25-question communications quiz
   - and a 25-question editing quiz.
   - They will also submit a written media plan
   - and give a team oral presentation. Each team should present their
   media plan as if pitching it to the client identified in the scenario.

Attached is the Media Plan scenario for 2023-24. Your team should use this
scenario and client information to create their media plan.

The media plan is a required portion of both the Area and State CDEs in
2023-24.

The specifications of the media plan are spelled out in the Agricultural
Communications CDE guidelines that are attached and available online in the
CDE/LDE portion of the Georgia FFA website.

*Contest Starts:  4:30 PM *



*T-shirts* are available for this event and must be ordered online with
event registration.

*To register for the CDE:*

Go to the AG. Ed. Website and log in.

Click on Event Registration.

Click on Area 3 or Area 4 Ag. Communications CDE Registration.

Click on the edit for each team that you are registering.

Click on edit for the T-shirts that you order. It will make an invoice for
your T-shirts.




*Bring to the contest:*

2 - #2 pencils

Projector and/or Laptop if you are using those in your presentation. Only
an easel, screen, and table are provided.

Media Plan Items (if using any)



*CDE Dress*

It is recommended that students either wear official dress or a chapter
shirt.
