The registration for the *Area Middle School AND High School Lawnmower
Operations CDE *is up on the Georgia AG ED Website and login page.  Here is
some additional information:

The Middle School Lawnmower CDE is open to any middle school FFA member in
grades 6th - 8th. Each chapter is limited to 1 participant.

The High School Lawnmower CDE is open to any high school FFA member in
grades 9th - 12th. Each chapter is limited to 1 participant.

*CDE Details:*- Students will drive a lawn mower through an obstacle
course, complete a 20 question test multiple choice test (questions will
come from *EVEN* chapters in the Small Engines textbook and the Turfgrass
Science and Management book), and complete a 10 question problem solving
test using lawn mower manuals.

*The High School mower will be a Grasshopper zero turn mower.*

*The Middle School mower will be a John Deere S110 with a 42" deck *


*Location: *

*Area 4 Lawnmower CDE, November 28th @ West Laurens High School

*Area 3 Lawnmower CDE, November 30th @ Camp John Hope


*What to bring:*
Students should bring a clipboard and at least 2 - #2 pencils, safety
glasses and hearing protection.

*Event shirts *
$12 each
Tshirt invoices can be found under the Account Balance tab then click
Region balance at the top right.


*Registration*

*The deadline is November 13**, 2023 for both Area 3 & 4 CDEs.*

To register for the CDE.

Go to the AG. Ed. Website and log in.

Click on Event Registration.

Click on Area 3 or Area 4 Lawnmower CDE High School OR Middle School
Registration.

Click on the edit for the student that you are registering.

Click on edit for the T-shirts that you order. It will make an invoice for
your T-shirts and for the cost of the event.

*It has opened to register your students and closes on 11/13**/23 for BOTH
AREA CDEs.*
