Proficiency applications are due in 2 weeks.

We have the following schools currently registered to turn in the
proficiency areas listed below. Please check these over and see if yours is
listed and in the correct proficiency area. I have tried to correct
submissions when asked.
If you have not registered yet, click the link below to submit your
registration.
Remember to complete a separate registration form for each
student/proficiency area.
Remember each high school teacher is required to submit at least one
proficiency application in order to fulfill the Program of Work.

*ALL proficiency applications are due electronically to the application
manager by Thursday, February 1st. No hard-copy applications will be turned
in and DO NOT send to Central Region Applications email. *
*If your student has not yet established a MyFFA account that is tied to
their membership ID, please have them follow the steps below.*
1. Log in to www.ffa.org
2. In the top right, click on Dashboard
3. In the dropdown menu, click Student Member
4. On the student member page, in the left side menu, click the “Manage My
Profile” link
5. When prompted, click the blue Login or Signup button
6. On the Login/Sign up page, click the blue Sign Up button on the right.
7. Go through the series of questions/prompts.
8. When asked for FFA ID or Invite code, students should enter both.
NOTE – A student will need to get their membership ID and invite code from
their advisor. You will find those items by logging in to your Georgia AgEd
account, and going to the Student Enrollment tab. On the list of all
students, you will see their name, and in the next two columns, you will
see their FFA membership ID and their invite code.

Once a student establishes a MyFFA account, they will be able to access the
Application Center and begin an application. *Each application must be
initiated by the student.* Once the student creates the application, their
advisor will be able to see that application in their Application Center
and will be able to review the application and assist the student.

I have attached the document he included in his email that spells out all
of the changes.

Existing applications from last year are still in the Application Manager
for students to update and submit in 2023-24. However, while the
application exists from last year, the questions and portions that were
revised for this year have been changed. Students should open the existing
application and thoroughly review each question/section to ensure that the
answers they provided last year answer the question being asked for this
year. Pay specific attention to some of the essay questions, the
Skills/Competency/Knowledge page, and the photo section. Those sections had
the majority of the changes.
