Good afternoon,



FFA Members 6th – 12th grade are invited to enter their metal or
woodworking projects in the Farm Credit Ag Mechanics Contest at the Sunbelt
Expo. We are excited to host the 6th Farm Credit Ag Mechanics Contest at
the Sunbelt Ag Expo in Moultrie coming up on Oct. 17 – 19!



*GOOD NEWS for projects entered in the GA National Fair – YOU CAN COME! *We
have worked with GNF to allow projects entered to be released on Mon. Oct.
16 at 1:00 pm to come to Moultrie. This is not published on the GNF
website. Just indicated on our registration form (link below) that the
project is entered in both, and we will send GNF a list of the projects to
release on Monday.

*Registration is OPEN!! Deadline to register is Sunday, October 1st*.



Attached are the complete rules, but here are the basic details:



   - *Divisions *
      - Metal Projects - Small (up to 3 ft)
      - Metal Projects - Large (3 – 6 ft)
      - Wood Projects – Small (up to 3 ft)
      - Wood Projects – Large (3 – 6 ft)
   - *Prize Money *
      - Grand Champion for each of the 4 divisions (Small Wood, Large Wood,
      Small Metal, Large Metal) = ribbon and $100
      - Reserve Champions for each of the 4 divisions = ribbon and $50 cash
      prize
      - Overall Grand Champion Chapter award = ($100 + plaque)
   - *Project Drop-off* –Monday 10/16 (10:00 – 4:00)
   - *Projects entered in GNF CAN enter this contest!* Special
   accommodations made for projects checking out from GNF to come to Expo
   - *Pick up* – see attached rules.
   - *Entry Deadline *Oct. 1, 2023 *(FFA Advisor must submit registration)*
